I think people forget that the “it’s just a game relax” excuse would only apply if it was a video game franchise coming out with a sequel or something. Yes it’s just a game but people have spent thousands of dollars on it with the expectation of getting better content and better treatment. Players have invested their hard earned money on it and we aren’t crazy for expecting some kind of return that makes that money spent worth it. Can we stop downplaying and invalidating the emotions of people who have also spent their money on a game that isn’t treating them fairly?
