@cupsaucerbowl @Patrickwebb The sad story here is, that the time and energy put into technologies of war and control, weren't poured into enlightenment and betterment of humankind. Human nature and history are mind blowing. Hopefully the future stages a new story to be told.

@0r4d4r @Patrickwebb Bingo. They will never give us technology that they can't end run if needed. I'm sure they have tech now that we aren't aware of. It won't be given to the public until they figure out how to police it.

@0hour1 People cheer when the technology is used to save lives and serve justice to those who earn it. Then the same people turn around and cry foul when they learn their toys don't come with a personal vetting of and release of, the necessary leashes to prevent harm/misuse.

@0ccultbot I compare your analogy quoted, to the comparison of intelligence vs. wisdom. Same concept, intelligent ideas can be taught, but wisely understanding a matter does not exclusively belong to the intelligent.

"Wisdom that a wise man attempts to impart always sounds like foolishness to someone else. Knowledge can be communicated, but not wisdom. One can find it, live it, do wonders through it, but one cannot communicate and teach it." ~ Hermann Hesse

Depends on what you mean by modern. If you are referring to a modulator/demodulator IC(modem) on the local NIC interface, it would happen first before arriving along the chain to any other point. The switch, default gateway and the DNS server could technically all be running on the next piece of hardware connected by the communication media (copper, fiber or radio), which in theory would have another modem waiting to demodulate the modulated signal sent by the onboard modem of the local NIC interface.

Someone as in the engineer, patent holder, factory manager or factory assembly worker? They all have different reward structures. I think I was addressing the loss of time needed to build, facilitated by innovations is a current debate worth giving attention to. I'm an idiot, what can I say.

@0r4d4r @alphafox You have obviously never worked in a car dealership repair shop. The pay is percentage of book time per repair. Do the repair quicker you still get full allotted pay. My nephew pulls down $3800 +/- a week as Ford mechanic

I think you missed the point I was making, about this machine reducing time taken from skilled labor. Machines like this, if practical, make the wheat just as effective as the chaff. I understand your argument, but it seems that you are arguing with yourself on hypothetical tangents beyond my statement. I am an idiot, so you win.

@0r4d4r @alphafox You’re an idiot. When you do the job better than your coworkers you deserve more money. Why the hell should someone who does shit work get paid the same as someone who does better work? That’s why flat rate exists in the trades. Separates the wheat from the chaff.

Ill be skipping the iPhone 17 A quiet upgrade under the radar: Apple launched the iPhone 17e.. That comes with a new cellular modem developed in Israel Several months ago, Netanyahu asked 250 US Lawmakers who were in Israel if they had phones… “We’re pretty good at making weapons… (moments later) You have cell phones? You’re holding a piece of Israel… this serves the betterment of mankind.” Could you imagine a more sinister way to hold America hostage? Nah.. Cell Phones rumble.com/v6z26x2-were-p…
