The Commissioner of Police, CP Tijani Fatai, psc, mnips, alongside other senior officers of the Command, carried out an on-the-spot assessment of the accident scene and engaged representatives of the Students’ Union of Lagos State University. During the interaction, the CP commended the students for their calm, orderly, and responsible conduct in this moment of grief following the unfortunate loss of one of their colleague. He assured them that justice will be served, stating that the suspect involved will be charged to court by Monday for onward and proper prosecution. The Command remains committed to transparency, accountability, and the safety of all residents.
