@mootsheep theres literally no such thing as an american car anymore either, half the components are built in other countries, final assembly happens here, and aftermarket and maintenance parts that are worth the cost are also pretty much all made in asia

@Scotia834 @monopool_ im less cynical about it than most and Im happy sf6 actually has a fuckin identity (unlike 5) but man how are you gonna do this, finally set a game after 3, and you launch with 0 sf3 characters, and only have 2 by year 3. imagine if cotw did that with the motw cast

@monopool_ For real. I've gotten so much shit in the past by saying that modern Capcom loves just picking and choosing what aspects of SF3 they want to rip off and do worse. So much of SF6 is straight up copied from SF3 except for the stuff that matters (the characters and story).

Oh my god this is true the Japanese version of the Tom story COMPLETELY retcons Alex ever growing up with Tom and Patricia. The whole sibling side of Alex and Patricia's relationship is just gone now. I'm actually speechless, their SF3 backstory just got deleted like it's nothing

Question for people better at fighting games than me
How do I get better at avoiding getting in my own head and shutting down when my opponent puts any sort of pressure on me?

@owenthetallguy -is set up a training mode environment with the cpu doing a couple different pressure strings on you, practice patiently blocking them then taking your turn back. Some games let you randomize multiple recordings and that can help you react and adjust to switchups in pressure

@owenthetallguy Most fighting games people's pressure is gonna be able to be low blocked, then their character will have a more obvious move that hits overhead. Successfully blocking these kinds of sequences makes me feel more confident to wait for my next turn. One thing you can do-
