Code is law relates to the question of the sovereign jurisdiction for the enforcement of defi contracts; it does not question contract enforcement in other areas. This is a case of written contracts being breached. In the real world, contract is law. There is no contradiction.

Now it's dawning on people the dark side of the "code is law" If incentives are misaligned and principal-agent still is a thing (instead of peers), code can't be law - because that humany space is too fuzzy for maths you need lawyers and judges to interprete the social code.

Remilia isn’t a DAO. Briefly considered it when I first started hiring but realized its untenable on current infrastructure. Flat hierarchy, democratic governance, and full financial transparency are all toxic in any complex business enterprise. Opposite of the corporate pyramid.

Another time where we get proved DAOs can't work. Lack of legal oversight, structure, responsibility, efficiency. And it is not aim at any of the side, those things simply do not work. And traditional run business (can be blockchain but with clear set of rules), will always outperform even best managed dao.
