@alanshz Ok, it locking at 100K actually makes me feel a lot better about the model However it is based on equity, that’s what it says in your own FAQ 😭

@0xDevin_ It’s balance based, not equity. It also locks in the initial balance. This means that (in the case of 100k acc) once you’re up 3% or more, your trailing won’t go above the initial balance.

The break evaluation is inspired on futures prop model - 99$ for a 100k account - Payouts on demand - No min days traded - Up to $500k - 1 Phase As a trader, this is the evaluation I wish I'd had to trade crypto 4 years ago

@AlvaroCFT I just don’t think trailing drawdown high equity watermark should ever exist on any firm It’s just a good way to have cheap prices for easy marketing but it’s impossible to actually trade with long-term

Yeah, I get your point. But every model needs balance. We’ve been in the industry for 3 years and we’ve all seen what happens when firms make everything too easy or way too cheap. It usually ends with hidden catches, payout denials or firms shutting down. Break is meant to be accessible, but still sustainable. And of course, it’s not our only model. If it doesn’t fit your style, we have other accounts with different rules and conditions 🫣

@CFTradercom’s new Break model looks like the best deal in crypto prop trading. Only $99 for a 100K Account. When you look more closely you can see that it’s a predatory model built to make inexperienced traders chase a payout they will never get.

@AlvaroCFT Yeah I mean other places will probably copy the break model aswell I just think it’s extremely predatory because of the trailing drawdown high equity watermark

@Trader_Luuk @CFTradercom Trailing equity high watermark with an all-in cost of $400-$500 to get a funded account is extremely predatory

What point are you trying to make? This is literally how all futures firms operate. So, in your view, are all futures firms ‘predatory models built to make inexperienced traders fail’? And if you don’t like the BREAK model, then you can simply choose the old-school two-phase challenges, right? They’re simply expanding their offering for people who want to trade this type of challenge on the crypto markets. They’re listening to customer feedback and putting it into practice.

/9 Things like this are what gives the prop industry a bad rep. There is still no crypto prop firm that has a low barrier to entry and a similar model to the ones that have allowed skilled futures traders to thrive. I might just change that soon 👀

/8 The incentive for CryptoFundTrader is clear. A firm like this earns from eval fees. That isn’t a problem in it of itself, that’s how the prop firm industry works. However, when you have rules like this it becomes extremely predatory.
