$near desperately needs to fix the UX for their ledger app. Having to confirm all headers and individually sign every tx is absolutely terrible and genuinely makes me want to use the chain as little as possible

Every true success in crypto is tied to some civilizational-level thesis. Narratives that transcend price action and start turning into pseudo-religions. There have only really been 2 so far:
“Humans need uncontrollable money” → Bitcoin
“Humans need uncontrollable finance” → Eth
“Humans need unserveillable money” feels like a real candidate for the third “true” crypto narrative.
The way people talk about $XMR and $ZEC already hints at it. There’s a different tone, less purely financial, more ideological.
These are actual “cult” coins. Bitcoin and Eth were both cult coins as well. Because real cults don’t form around pure profit communities, they form around shared higher ideology.

Maybe a hot take, but $hype feels pretty fairly valued to me. FDV marketcap comparable to coinbase. Not exactly sure what people are seeing for a 10x any time soon
I think it probably performs really well as a cashflow business over the next few years if growth continues

The two major coins with the best quantum roadmaps are pretty clearly $ETH and $ZEC imo. ETH has >50x as large of a marketcap, so I think if this narrative continues to heat up (it will), ZEC will perform extremely well.
Pretty much zero other cryptos even have real plans

$ZEC is not going up on quantum news because it's actually quantum resistant, but because devs have talked about their plans extensively, and some technical decisions made in the past to make the transition easier. Monero and btc are looking far less prepared

Imo $zec has a higher theoretical ceiling than $xmr
$xmr clearly owns the niche of dark money. But this is a double-edged sword, and large investors probably will avoid it due to reg risk.
Also, TAM of privacy is much larger than just clandestine use cases

Realistically i think you’re pretty safe buying $btc, $zec, $xmr or $eth
Less confident in $sol tbh but probably does ok. The normie coin, $xrp, likely does fine in the future too.
Hard to argue for other coins long term (years).
And $hype is a cashflow business, not a coin

$strc just seems like a way to funnel money from idiots into more btc for saylor since other fundraising avenues dried up. I think the gameplan is for strc to rug someday but saylor and microstrategy keep the btc. If it works that’s pretty genius
