I know this is about real life situations but also, this is why TSITP irked me so much.
Obviously, Belly was groomed into believing Conrad was her destiny and instead of moving on from it, in the end at 22, she looked at a 3 year old picture of herself and shackled herself again.

folks would die if they actually understood that grooming means you technically consent to your abuse. that's what grooming is, manipulating you into consenting. talks around sexual violence need to go beyond consent bc where there's abuse of power that shit is null
