Yesterday's CLOBv2 was a major release. 235M PUSD have been migrated so far, and a big credit to the team for the months of work that went into it. CLOBv2 is the first step toward fixing the root cause of failed transactions but standalone isn't the final fix for it.
The final fix ships Monday to stop failed transactions. It needed CLOBv2 to land first. Given the scope of the change, it also had to go through a full audit, which is why it's taken a little longer than we'd have liked.
I know how frustrating it is when a trade fails. We're on it. As we've said, we're going to make Polymarket's infrastructure the best in the industry. Bear with us as we continue to improve performance and reliability across the system.

@kir_varlamov S3 for analytics + historical + dataset building
Websocket for close to real time indeed, but there are some data you only have on S3 at this point so you might anyway need to have S3 indexing always on
English

@0xExoMonk Do you use S3 for historical only and WebSocket for real-time, or is S3 still the live path?
Not sure ~1s polling is fast enough for live prediction market arb. Would love to hear how it holds during heavy settlement bursts

@0xExoMonk @PaulRBerg @devjoshstevens wait this is actually huge fam
might save my sanity on local testing
no more docker rebuilds every tweak
English

Shout out to @devjoshstevens who has built a really cool indexer for EVM contracts called rindexer
I've used it recently and I was pleasantly surprised about how easy it was to set up.
Just a few YAML files, ABIs, and a Dockerfile.

@raychix @PaulRBerg @devjoshstevens You have —watch flag available now that basically act as a hot-reload module (same as a bun run dev command) 👀
English

@PaulRBerg @devjoshstevens indexer setup gets easier, but still gotta debug yaml errors half the time
some things never change

@yiliush @joshdesignsxyz Cool ! Would you considering having a dedicated tab for these ? It’s then adding some kind of noise to the folder tree structure IMO 🙏🏼
English

Collaborator 0.4.1 is out with a ton of improvements, including cmd+scroll to zoom on the canvas (contributed by @joshdesignsxyz 🙏🏼)

English

@yiliush @joshdesignsxyz I think these are "seperate" kind of folder / files we handle because they are directly connected to our AI workflows right, I though about a specific tab here

The indexers situation in EVM is pretty bad.
And I am surprised how it's underdiscussed. Having access to correct history should be a must and not something hard to get or gated behind expensive apis.
If you use etherscan you are fine. Their data is by far the most correct. But etherscan free does not work for @base or @Optimism.
Now you may say no worries, use @bloskcscout or use @routescan.
Good luck. For Base blosckscout is struggling to re-index the chain for months now. Routescan has given up. The reason is that it's really hard to index and they get no support from Base. Incidentally this is the same reason Etherscan has put both Optimism and Base behind a paid API.
For optimism transactions before bedrock for both blockscout and Routescan return wrong data. They return no internal transactions for transactions that should have them. That means people relying on this data make wrong assumptions, accounting, taxes etc.
I love etherscan and am super thankful for their persistence on accurate data. But ofc relying on only one indexer is not good. Not gonna lie the situation is pretty bleak for EVM history.
I have personally stopped using the chains that are hard to index. For me data accuracy and its guarantee into the future is paramount.

Liquidiction is live on testnet
Built a prediction market frontend on @HyperliquidX HIP-4
Started as something for myself to view markets more easily, and decided to ship it for everyone
What it does:
- Browse, analyze & trade all HIP-4 prediction markets
- Live price feeds + order depth for every market
- Underlying asset charts (BTC, HYPE) with strike price overlays
- Connect any wallet through Privy
- Claim 1,000 tUSDC daily from the faucet in the nav
- Worth using on testnet now (daily), max your on-chain activity, you never know when the next points season hits :)
Mainnet the second HIP-4 goes live
Want features? Reply or DM me as I'd like this to be community-inspired
Shoutout @0xExoMonk and @Yaugourt for their documentation they tweeted out, linked it in the footer
Please try to break it so I can catch all the flaws now while it's on testnet
