How Smarter Data Sharing with Sharding works on @idOS_network ?
Right now, in the $idOS system, every node stores all the data from the network.
This makes things easy to verify, keeps data highly available and helps developers work with the system. But as the network grows, storing everything on every node becomes harder and heavier.
To solve this idOS is looking into data sharding using erasure coding a technique that breaks data into small, overlapping pieces called shards and spreads them across different nodes.

Even if some nodes go offline, the system can still rebuild the data from the remaining pieces so availability stays strong, even in tough conditions.
