As you can see by the thumbnails, I prefer to view them vertically, the drawing is generated in a 9:16 ratio and the fluid flexible aspect I added is because not all displays are 16:9, there is some small variation, even square displays, and in the future, who knows what we will be using.
I made it flexible so no one needs to do anything for the piece to adapt to the screen, it will do it on its own, filling all the available space.
I envision the piece to be constantly ticking, rotating, following the networks heartbeat.

Thank you so much, everyone. 🙏🏼 After a month in Marfa thanks to @artblocks_io and @opensea , and 9 more months building Gift of Time, seeing it sell out in under 2 minutes is honestly overwhelming. My time in Marfa was truly inspiring, and I wanted to fully integrate all the ideas that kept emerging there, along with everything filling my sketchbook, into this project. All the hard work would have been worth it just for the messages, comments, and support alone. This project holds so many layers, small details, shifting systems, and changes tied to time itself… moon phases, calendars, cycles, and movement. As we move away from the full moon, you’ll start noticing subtle changes. Thank you for looking at it, supporting it, collecting it, and spending time with it. It truly means a lot.

The desert made time feel slower and more visible, and he transformed that into living mechanical systems of colorful pulleys, gears and rhythmic cycles that keep evolving nonstop.
Every piece syncs with real blockchain data, lunar phases, calendars and shifting connections, staying alive even when unobserved.
I missed the mint, even though I had seen it somewhere but I forgot. Those who got one are the lucky ones. They own something genuine and layered after the artist’s month in Marfa plus nine more months of focused work.

When art meets code, the artwork stops being static. It becomes a living mechanism, a composition that does not simply represent time, but moves with it.
"Gift of Time" by @ManuelLarino may resemble a clock, yet it functions as something far more complex and unique:
a system that breathes through cycles, calendars, lunar phases and algorithmic transformations.
Every shift in time leaves its trace on the piece, allowing it to evolve even when no one is watching.
It does not begin when we see it, and it does not stop when it disappears from the screen.
It synchronizes with the present moment, yet exists beyond the act of viewing. It is always active, always in motion, always connected to the flow of time.

Thank you all so much for the incredible response to Gift of Time.
I’m honestly grateful to see this project connect with so many people, from so many different places and backgrounds.
I originally planned to share more about how the system works while the mint was live… but it sold out before I had the chance. :)
So I wanted to start digging a little deeper into some of the questions I’ve been getting.
One of the most asked about elements has been the moon phase calendar.
Moon phases are built directly into the system, slowly transforming the colored circles within the mechanism, forms that act almost like pupils, expanding and contracting over time, like in this animated sketch.
And this is just one layer.
Gift of Time is made from multiple interconnected systems, each subtly influencing the work as time passes.
