QAs Product Owners AI Engineers DevOps Software Engineers (Full Stack) That’s a lot of work for me to handle the recruitment process because we don’t have HR yet. I can only handle the technical interviews. Is there any recruitment agency you can recommend?

I just realized the founder of Moniepoint was once a Senior Engineer at Interswitch before leaving to build what we now know today. Man clearly learnt a lot and went on to build one of the biggest fintech infrastructures in Africa 😂 Moral lesson: Learn everything you can at your current company. One day, you might build yours too.

Oh My God… I just secured a job in an oil and gas company Congratulations to me 🎉

It all started one evening when my friend called me and told me about learning a digital skill. Infact, he said: “You can even work remotely.” And I was like… Wait You mean I can stay in my comfort zone and still earn money? Omo I was already interested 😂 That was when he told me about an IT training @DigitallWitch and started learning with just my Android phone. Inside the training, we learnt: – Customer support – Sales – Virtual assistance – Lead generation – Social media management – Airbnb management and many other skills. At the end of the training, they taught us how to create LinkedIn accounts. I created mine immediately and started applying for jobs with the skills I had learnt 😭 Created my CV with Google Docs. Submitted over 100 CVs. Nothing. No job. No response. Eventually I got tired and stopped. Towards the end of 2024, after getting an onsite job, I picked LinkedIn again. By then I had joined accountability groups, learnt more about personal branding and social media management, and decided to take it seriously. I saved money to optimize my LinkedIn profile and started showing up consistently again. This time, I focused more on social media management. Still with the same phone. Then gradually: I got a volunteer job — earned 5k 😭 Got a content writing job — 30k Got an SMM job — 30k Another SMM job — 50k Then eventually started landing 6-figure jobs. Along the way I: – got a laptop – got a better phone – rented an apartment – met amazing people – improved my life financially And honestly? I still feel like I’m just getting started. What’s one skill that changed your life financially?

My football analysis epiphany happened when I finally understood what Jose Mourinho meant by "we controlled the game without the ball". Prior to that, I was highly critical of him when he uttered those words. "The team with the ball controls the game" was how I saw football. I’m still critical of coaches, but I’ve realized that even when I think I know a lot, it doesn’t compare to what coaches managing at the highest level actually know.
