Some commentary on the current Solana “meta”👇 Pump is a cool concept. But it’s already overrun by scam bots distributing funds over multiple accounts and rugging 99% of tokens on the bonding curve before they make it to Raydium. The window to make money trading on the site is shrinking every day. And probably only a few early projects that launched before it was flooded with scam bots will/could prevail. Clearly the current model isn’t sustainabke and is moving well into -ev territory for most pariticipants. With that said, there are some early projects with strong community and/or ones with real utility that appear in top mc on the site. Not all is lost. And I also don’t discount a reworking of the mousetrap by Pump. I’m sure they’re smart enough to see what’s happening and how it needs to be desperately altered to succeed this cycle. Also, I will note that Nut Market taking over Theory of Gravity is a serious long term business decision. While it happened quickly, it was well thought out and reasoned. It’s a commitment. And already many things are in the works to support it. Nut Market benefits from the virality of the community among other things. It’s sensible. Being a fair third party launch adds to the token’s lore and I personally haven’t sold any and neither has Nut Market. In fact Nut Market added liquidity to the the token pool yesterday on Raydium. If you’re not a believer, that’s great. Nobody is promising anything. Nut Market is super careful about promises as it’s not in the business of saying things it can’t deliver on. Technical debt kills crypto projects. All I can say is that the decision to take it over is driven by the vibe and the opportunity to acquihire the team. Particularly the main meme lord. Huge asset to Nut Market already.
