$POLY average airdrop will be 50-200$.
Not 4–5 figures. Not “new Hyperliquid”. Not generational wealth for farmers.
Those times are mostly gone.
Everyone is distancing from “crypto” now. Polymarket is playing a much bigger game: regulation, web2 users, institutions, and probably IPO vibes at some point. They have zero reason to print huge money for airdrop farmers who will dump on day one. They just want to thank the early crypto community for participating and move on.
Also, the token will work as an incentive for future activities.
Yes, I believe they’ll launch perps after the TGE and allocate $POLY token rewards for it, basically like a Season 2 campaign.
And honestly, for a normal web2 user, even $50–$100 for clicking around and using the product is a nice bonus. It only feels “small” because crypto people are still mentally stuck in 2020–2021, waiting for free 5-figure checks from every app.
Especially for LP providers: I know many expect “LP = huge allocation”. But Polymarket already has liquidity reward programs worth tens of millions. You are already being paid. Don’t expect them to pay you twice like you discovered fire.
Polymarket has around 2.5M hungry mouths, plus a huge stack of investors/funds who also need their piece of the pie.
So my advice is simple:
Don’t build your expectations around a massive Polymarket airdrop.
Build your future yourself.
The era of easy free money is over.
Make your bet!

I think people are making one big mistake with $POLY fdv. The current pre market implied fdv shouldn’t be treated as the real valuation of the future token ( it shows company valuation). Crypto token fdv can be much lower. Thats my point. But I’ll be happy.
I’d be happy to be wrong ofc. I’d love to see a massive legendary drop. But have very little faith in that scenario.

I don’t think they’ll cutoff so much people. They’ll make it massive I think. Maybe 1.5-2M. For the math I still think we will get some surprise. Polymarket is not a pure token project anymore. If there’s an IPO/equity story, funds, institutions and web2 optics, the token can’t capture the entire company value. That would conflict with equity investors and create huge regulatory + sell pressure problems.
FDV ≠ liquid money for farmers.
$200M/2M users = 100$.

if they distribute even 1b (10% of 10B FDV for example) to 250k thats $4k airdrop on average.
