gm. lately my entire timeline has been filled with npc. the hype around this collection really caught my attention and i started to love the whole community vibe. so i decided to make a few handmade pieces inspired by npcs and join their art competition here is what i made : 1/ npc keychains: for the first pieces, i made two different npc keychains by hand using yarn. one was inspired by the classic npc characters and the other had a different design and style. it took a lot of time and patience to get all the little details right. 2/ broken CD mosaic art: for the second piece, i took fragments of a broken cd and turned them into a mosaic artwork based on one of the npc traits. the shiny reflective pieces gave it such a cool texture and light effect, i loved how it turned out. 3/ colored tissue paper artwork and for the third one, i made an artwork inspired by one of the nft traits using colored tissue paper.

CS2 skins were launched back in 2013. Pokémon cards were first launched in 1996. What’s common between these two? It took more than a decade for both to become what they are today. The NFT market will continue to improve over time and it will take a few more years to gain broader recognition. I don’t even think comparing NFTs to either of these is entirely fair at this point. Counter-Strike was released back in 2000 while Pokémon was released in 1996. People don’t realize how early they are to NFTs especially when Azuki is working on manga, BAYC is working on gaming and an anime series and Pudgy Penguins is expanding its IP through games and merchandise. Now, some might argue that normies consider NFTs a scam. But everything in the world is considered a scam in its early days. Not to mention, many people still think stocks are a scam, forget about crypto and NFTs. NFTs are inevitable. It’s just a matter of time.
