After the last matches, the race has become much clearer 👀
🩷 RR: Win their final match = certainly in.
🩸 PBKS: A win likely keeps them ahead of KKR… but may still not matter if RR win again.
🟣 KKR: Still mathematically alive after beating MI.
But their path is messy: beat DC + RR lose + potentially swing NRR against PBKS (HARD)
🟨 CSK: Still technically alive… but a win vs GT + RR to lose + PBKS to lose + a favorable NRR swing = 😅
And even in the final game, RR probably still enter with the highest expected win probability... this might really be it 👁️

IPL 4th playoff spot scenarios 🏏 🛑 PBKS still hold the final playoff spot. 🩷 RR are only one point behind with two matches left. 🟨 CSK are still alive and waiting for any slip. PBKS likely need to beat LSG. If they lose, the pressure shifts immediately toward RR and CSK. RR may have the clearest path: win both remaining matches, and they likely control their own qualification. But even splitting those two games could still keep them alive depending on PBKS results and NRR. CSK now face the hardest scenario: they likely need to beat GT, while also needing results elsewhere to break their way. Three completely different types of pressure.
