A little update on what we've been working on. Super excited to announce that we recently closed a strategic pre-seed round to double down on a problem that I genuinely think is one of the most exciting opportunities ahead. We're building the rails for structured yield today, with the long-term vision going further to support an open finance stack for even AI agents and democratize opportunities for both institutional and retail users globally. A little career announcement today: I recently wrapped up my time at Aptos after 2 years. 🙏Forever grateful to the team for the opportunity and learned a lot across roles in devrel, dev growth, to hands-on supporting founders in the ecosystem. As for what's next, I'm going to work on a problem I (and a few frens) am really excited about. As the space matures and more assets come on-chain, we think there's a massive opportunity to innovate and make all spot assets (not just stables) more productive by bringing battle-tested TradFi strategies leveraging derivatives. We're still mostly stuck at just the 'hold & moon' mindset for spot alts and other on-chain assets. Why? Because the infra to put them to work is limited. Yes, there's liquid staking (tbh that's just more emissions, but oke). Or LP and get rekt by IL. Somewhere along the way we just accepted that this is the best we can do. But that's not true. There are strategies in TradFi that are readily available for investors to make their assets more productive. Real yield. Manageable risks. In crypto, these are usually reserved only for the large players. Or available just for BTC & ETH. That's because the infra isn't quite there (yet). It will be. And no, the approach will be different from stables Vaults and different from previous DOV (option vaults) approaches. Will write more about it pls follow @enhanced_defi ! Job's just started.
