@jeremyct 2. Reject the current situation being finality in your life. Admit to yourself that you fucked up. Instead of escaping from reality, embrace it and try to get the most benefits (info) out of it.
Prepare for the next opportunity, but most importantly, build yourself into a winer.
English

@jeremyct I've had a similar moment in my life and honestly it feels as you've hit rock bottom. At this point your future splits into two alternate possibilities:
1. Accept your current present as finality, tell yourself that you aren't cut out to make it big and blame some random event.

i am 28 years old
lost $34,000 in crypto in 11 months
no job, no savings, no plan
borrowed from my mom, my brother, my best friend
none of them know it went to crypto
i told them it was rent
i sit in my childhood bedroom every night
refreshing a portfolio that never recovers
and the worst part
i still can’t close the app
because closing the app means admitting it’s over
and i’m not ready for that yet

@daily_romania Flashback to Peter Praet, chairman of the ECB displaying his deep understanding of money.
Is this the dude that's supposed to guide us economically?
English

@Bulgaria And yet these people (25%~~ of overall population) can vote for the political direction of a country they don't live in..
In my opinion this is quite ridiculous, because they don't experience the everyday reality and are themselves not impacted by this decision.

@cozypront the name was SCAM and people still needed a lesson twice 💀

I co-introduced historic legislation to increase the minimum wage to $25.
As someone who taught economics at Stanford, here is why it makes sense.
The real minimum wage was $14 in 1968.
Today it is half, but productivity has increased 2.5x.
Instead of extractive capitalism, we need a free enterprise system that pays workers what they are worth.
English

@bobthebagger @Crazyunfill94 Yeah, Italy has allowed too much freedom and chaos, big cities like Rome are packed with "free" bracelet scammers and Cigan thiefs that unironicall present themselves as Bulgarians when caught (which is my country so I despise them with everything I have, they are not from BG)

@rainyrael Did I lie?
I just want to put this "pump" into perspective, since you conveniently show only a small piece of the chart.

@ZssBecker When we were kids we used the same trick when playing Monopoly, when the bank ran out of momey we just started making new bills on small pieces of paper.
It was at this point that it hit me, the monetary system is beyond cooked.
English

@ZssBecker Actually your mqth checks out, calculating with an avera line of code as 32 characters and an average book page as 1650 characters, the math shows that 37k lines of code translate to 717 pages of a book
English

@ZssBecker The concept is good, the only thing that breaks your comparisson is that a line of code can contain only a symbol or a parentheses "{ or }", also most lines are not longer than 5-10 words, whereas a book contains an average of 250-300 words. => 30-70 book pages sounds accurate.
