Incase we didn't know there's more to web3 as a growing creator, there’s more to Web3 than bounties , because it seems like that’s all we do nowadays. The effort we put into them can be split. Here’s what I mean If you make 4 writeups weekly, you can dedicate 2 to contests, and the other 2 can be used as free VALUE, value in capital letters , because you have to put in real effort, strategically, not just shabby work. I learned this from @sirkhaycee, and he says when you do free value, just do it, don’t ask for permission. Just do it, and do it strategically. Find one or two projects and write for them. You can decide how you want to structure it, whether you focus on new or old projects. You could even write about a new set of projects every week. Also, learn through experience. No matter how many classes you attend, you’ll still need personal experience. You can talk to devs without asking for a gig, just have conversations with them. They’re humans too. Give suggestions, ask questions, and understand what they want. Cold DM some projects. Not every project needs FV, some need PoW, and the threads you write can also serve as PoW. That’s why I said don’t do shabby work. Ignore anyone telling you not to give free PR when you’re a growing creator. Most people did it in the past, probably not publicly, and many did it recently for Kaito. Moreover, no one is going to pay your bills ,and when you eventually get a gig, don’t charge peanuts. This kind of information is usually paid for, but why gatekeep when only a few people will actually implement it? 😆 So why not just share it? There’s money here, you just need to know the right buttons to click and be consistent with it. When you get your first gig, don’t forget my 10% If this post gets 1 million likes, I’ll drop how to find early projects :)
