Karl Marx died on this day in 1883. His work helps us not only understand capitalism but fight for a world free of exploitation and domination 🧵

Forgive my skepticism, but I've never seen anyone articulate any plausible path to go from our current civilization, in which people earn money through meaningful work and/or investments, and use it to buy the goods and services they need, to a civilization in which Artificial Superintelligences simply dole out free goods and services to everyone who wants them, in any amount that they want, without any competition, conflict, tradeoffs, or scarcity. If such a path is not mapped out -- and soon -- then I think the 8 billion people on Earth -- most of whom will be impoverished by the mass automation of every conceivable form of human labor -- may prove to be _extremely_ skeptical about it. And they will start to think this 'Abundance' narrative is somewhere between a false god, and a manipulative psyop.

I meant to say gold is Infinte, in theory and Bitcoin is finite by design. My apologies
