Every new AI agent framework: "We added MCP support!" Small business owners: "I just need it to answer my Instagram DMs" Why do devs keep building for each other instead of for actual businesses?

I've been running an AI agent for real businesses for months. The #1 question owners ask: "Will I stop losing clients who DM after hours?" What's the #1 question YOUR customers ask?

@muvonteam Yeah, do you think sills and agent setup is just too much? for an average person

@0xkvyb Fully selfhosted + natural language prompting for lead handling is a strong combination. The "dump your files and ask" UX is exactly where AI tooling needs to go. Solid work.

@soloshippper very cool. it gets troublesome asking codex to not forget to document and write comments in gh. automating this is a great time saver

@0xkvyb hey ! I love open source projects very much , this is great idea actually to manage inbound leads .more over I am working on a project called autodocs - you just write code agent will write docs for your and raise PR for review - focus on just shipping

@motyar automating outbound, business development, cold outreach. That would close the loop: automated outbound and inbound. What have you built recently you’re proud of?

@0xkvyb fr that $0.15 booking is chef’s kiss. agents crush repetitive stuff but flows always need ironing first. what’s one task you’re automating next?

My AI agent just booked a nail appointment by itself. Client DM'd → agent checked calendar → confirmed → wrote to Sheets → texted the owner. Cost: $0.15. Time: 12 seconds. What's the last manual task you automated? Was it worth it?

@0xkvyb @TTrimoreau Interesting, AI that actually handles bookings end-to-end at that cost is a strong angle. Open-source + doc-grounded responses makes it more practical too. Could get attention in Reddit AI/startup threads if framed around real booking outcomes
