Mumble 1.1 is out. Four things that make voice a real input method on your Mac: 1. Meetings: edit attendees, translate summaries, pick templates while recording Add or remove attendees anytime. Pick speakers from the live transcript. Regenerate summaries in any language. Pick output templates right from the recorder.

Here's what Mumble can do in 45 seconds: - Record any meeting, no bot in your call - Dictate into any app, fully customize your format and output - Capture voice notes that auto-organize by topic - Run everything locally on your Mac or in the cloud One app, three workflows. Beta is live.

--use-fake-device-for-media-stream --use-fake-ui-for-media-stream --use-file-for-fake-video-capture=video.y4m By setting video.y4m as an AI-generated video of a person, the agent can test camera interaction itself now!

Hit a problem when building a camera-based app with Claude Code: the agent needs to test the camera... but nobody's sitting in front of it. It turns out Chrome has these hidden flags.

Our coding agent ate the entire Mac Studio today. Maxed out RAM with 50 electron instances, and killed the disk with hundreds of worktrees 💀 time to get another one

it found missing env var during e2e testing → started digging everywhere on the machine → found prod DB url → ran migrate We now copy .env for dev to the worktrees opened for it and also move prod code to somewhere it is hard to touch.

Taught our coding agent to self-improve and it improved itself… by taking down itself on prod today 😂

@spacemeowx2 @b1ackbinary → autossh port forwarding for external access → DNS records on our internal router so the team hits the service directly AI employee finally stopped ghosting. The dashboard response was also shorten from several seconds to instant.

Our internal coding agent was behind a Cloudflared Tunnel. However, it has been conflicting with our company VPN and our AI employee kept disappearing at 3AM every night 😂 So we set it up ourselves @spacemeowx2 @b1ackbinary

@wavetermdev - Smooth split panes with drag-and-drop - Built-in browser widget for debugging (no more cmd-tabbing between terminal and Chrome) - I now keep a notes pane open on the side — super useful when Claude Code / Codex is running and random ideas hit that I need to capture for later

With coding agents I'm spending so much more time in the terminal again, feels like the old days. I tried a bunch of terminal apps and found Wave @wavetermdev genuinely useful.

Blackbinary @b1ackbinary built a p2p network for the team to transfer local models directly between machines. No need to wait on cloud uploads just to test his latest builds LOL pretty cool

One thing I've learned recently: when you need an agent to reliably do A, B, C without getting lazy, good prompts help, combining into fewer tools helps, but the real unlock is a second agent that runs a checklist and every time asks "did you actually do this?"

Playing around with dictation in Mumble AI @mumblenote using a custom prompt. You can literally dictate commands into Terminal (if cannot remember them as always).

A follow-up on this skill (named as "sota"): I found that it works more effectively based on Claude Code context not just a random topic. Call the skill (make it /sota) at the end of the Plan mode, and it will do the project research based on all the current decisions.

Working on a scouting skill: 1. Discover credible GitHub projects on my interest 2. Clone repos and run sub-agents in cc to read source code 3. Report findings tailored to my focus Turns out to be effective understanding how things actually work. More visual would be interesting.

Mumble AI update: Global Dictation just got a major upgrade. Hold Fn, speak, then tap an arrow key: ← Clean text ↑ Bullet points ↓ Custom action (translate, rewrite, summarize) → Open & search Google, YouTube, Amazon, and more , Emoji picker 😊 Also new: · Meeting summary now generates as the call happens, not after · Improved language detection for better accuracy · Inbox: in-app announcements so you never miss what's new
