@elonmusk Are you saying there’s not a single black person who’s capable of running Starlink SA?

Elon Musk
Elon Musk@elonmusk·
South Africa won’t allow Starlink to be licensed, even though I was BORN THERE, simply because I am not Black! We were offered many times the opportunity to bribe our way to a license by pretending that a Black guy runs Starlink SA, but I have refused to do so on principle. Racism should not be rewarded no matter to which race it is applied. Shame on the racist politicians in South Africa. They should be shown no respect whatsoever anywhere in the world and shunned for being unashamedly RACISTS!
DogeDesigner@cb_doge

Why Elon Musk is RIGHT to fight South Africa’s racist rules blocking Starlink? Imagine this: Long ago, South Africa had very unfair laws called apartheid. They treated Black people badly and kept them from good jobs and money. When those bad laws ended, the country made new rules (called B-BBEE) to help Black people get a fair share of business. The idea was good – like a big helping hand. But now? For companies like Starlink to sell fast internet, they MUST give away 30% of their business to Black partners. Just because of skin color. Elon Musk was born in South Africa. He left as a teen to chase big dreams. Today, his company SpaceX wants to bring Starlink – super fast satellite internet – to South Africa. But the rules say no unless they give up part of the company. Elon said it right: “Starlink is not allowed because I’m not Black.” SpaceX promised to spend about $30 million (that’s 500 million rand!) to give FREE high-speed internet to 5,000 rural schools. That helps over 2.4 MILLION kids every year learn better, get jobs later, and have a brighter future. Real help for the people who need it most! Starlink already works in about 24 other African countries. Villages there now have internet for school, doctors, and business. South Africa’s villages are missing out because of these racist rules. Elon isn’t asking for special favors. He just wants fair play so Starlink can connect everyone fast. Internet = education, jobs, hope. Why hold back millions of kids over rules that pick by race and color?

In Crazy, Stupid, Love, the two main storylines run separately at first: 1. Cal Weaver (Steve Carell), a 40-something dad whose wife suddenly wants a divorce after 25 years. He's lost, awkward, and starts hanging out at bars trying to rebuild his life. 2. Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling), a slick, confident bachelor who picks up women effortlessly—one of them being Hannah (Emma Stone), a sharp young lawyer fresh out of a bad relationship. They feel totally unconnected… until the massive twist hits when the threads collide in the most unexpected family way. Classic rom-com setup that flips the genre on its head.

The context: This is replying to a viral question asking for movies with the biggest plot twist ever. The post calls out Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011 rom-com with Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone) for delivering a legit shocker no one expects from the genre—the two separate storylines (Cal's midlife mess + Jacob's fling) collide in a wild family reveal that ties everything together perfectly. Still hits hard years later.

@luisjgomez do you have any real life examples of a child getting fucked up by being lightly spanked or do i just have to take your word that they exist? I was spanked as a child, I probably even cried during it. It was good for me. I was never a brat. many of my friends were though 🤷‍♂️

Yes you’re right man. We should beat kids at varying degrees of force to see how hard is too hard. You’re a child abusing retard.
CEO of Exporting@ToupeeCostanza

@luisjgomez by asking how the studies were conducted? did the hook the kids up to a machine so that the same spanking force could be applied over and over? how else could they control for force? answer: they can't

@stats_feed It’s wild how many people still trust the Mercator map like it’s truth. That projection has been distorting our perception of size for centuries. Geography isn’t small. Our maps just lied.
