Forgiveness to me means I had a conversation with God and I forgave you and my heart was changed towards you. I want the best for you. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to return to the your pig trough and eat ever again. Let’s just move on and forward. Be well.
@Nutmegbunny9 What a great harvest! What type of zucchini was that? Do you remember the variety name?
I grew huge tomatoes in my garden. It's delightful to look at. And delicious too
7 years ago I had 2 very large zucchini plants that produced 110 zucchinis total . It was like nothing I have ever seen. The chickens ate them daily. I should have saved some seeds from those plants. It never happened again. Now I am struggling with 6 plants and I have harvested 4 zucchinis. 🤷♀️
Silver dollar plant is ready for dry flowers. Peel off the brown skin to reveal its silver layers inside. It's my form of meditation 🧘♀️😊#dryflower#garden#summer#artcraft
Silver dollar plant is ready for dry flowers. Elegant and artistic sliver fan-shaped dry seed pods. It's time to test my patience 😄 #dryflower#garden#silverdollar
I ask my Amish friend Bertha to still down with me next week and give me all their fertilizing practices. I am going to write it all down and do a post. I read so many things on the Internet and they just don’t work for me. The Amish have tried and true methods. I am already prepping for next year. This will include fertilizing, fruit, bushes, and trees. I found out from just talking with her this past week that I’m using the right fertilizers, but my timing is not the same as the Amish. It’s the timing.
@Nutmegbunny9 Interesting, I never thought to frozen them for later. Now I will do the same. We have a dry hot summer this year. The berries are sweeter☺️
Gooseberries harvested and a small harvest of currants. The remainder of the currants should be ready in a few days. Both of these berries are tart loaded with pectin. I use them for jam and I usually mix them with a sweet berry or fruit.
