You spin that perfectly legal asylum seekers are illegal. You fail to process them in a timely and proper fashion and allow a huge backlog to build up. You deliberately turn a perfectly manageable problem into a disaster. You create misery and horror on an epic scale. Thousands suffer unnecessarily, but you just don’t care as long as it distracts peoples’ attention away from the catastrophe you’ve created. I give you…our Conservative government.
