Something I like about the Avatar film series is that it's mostly scientifically plausible; some interesting scientific principles are applied.
However, when I most recently rewatched the first film I noticed that Grace holds a pipette upside-down.
Now that can bother you too :)

@PeterUIOdogwu @MoleculesGoHard I've used it to improvise a drill (hold it in a clamp and tighten the boss head angled up slightly) to put a hole in a sample vial cap (to put a needle through for a rotavap adapter) and tie the rubber band around it and a stopper to keep it ajar, keeping dust out of a reaction

I just did my final Honours presentation. Why does everyone ask 'did you try a different oxidiser?' and 'why didn't you use a phase transfer catalyst?' and never 'did you have fun?' and 'what was your favourite reaction?'?
