I have quite a few younger moots and i just wanted to share some unsolicited advice. These are things i plan on telling my daughters and things i wish i could have told my younger self. Coming from someone who got married and had kids before 25 (i wouldn’t change but ya know lol): do not get married or make any solid decisions until your frontal lobe has fully developed (late 20s). Getting married and having children are a choice!!!!!!!!! You don’t HAVE to. Life has many possible opportunities and journeys. There isn’t 1 correct path in life, Also, do exactly what they say and TRAVEL!!!! Learn how to be independent and make sure to be able to support yourself financially and emotionally. If possible, move to another city. Get away from where you grew up. It will help you blossom. Find good people to surround yourself with, people who share similar hobbies!!! Don’t try to fit in because the friendships won’t feel like they should. (Learned from experience). Do not RUSH through your 20s, so much self development happens. I promise. And if you decide to date, that’s wonderful, but please again don’t make any solid decisions until you’ve got yourself figured out. 🩷 If you made it this far, I love you. Hehe
