@ana_rod_gal @parasitoahorro In the Netherlands, in a sleepy little town, I bought a house 10 years ago for 210000 and a bit. It's now valued at nearly twice that. If you add another 5 years, those figures might be accurate.

Kind of agree with Brundle here. Max is entitled to his feelings (everyone is!), but there does come a point where you have to stand by your convictions or refocus your energy. I think Casey Stoner is a good example of that: he stopped enjoying it at the top of his game & retired

🚨| Verstappen under fire as media union pushes FIA for urgent clarification: — The Italian Union of Automotive Journalists (UIGA) has called on the FIA to address Max Verstappen's conduct during a media session at Suzuka. The incident involved a confrontation with a journalist from The Guardian, which escalated when Verstappen refused to start the session until the journalist left. — UIGA condemned Verstappen's actions, emphasizing the importance of professional respect and press freedom. They stated: “Verbal attacks and a climate of hostility towards journalists and photographers are unacceptable and undermine the fundamental principles of professional respect and press freedom.” — The union highlighted the incident involving journalist Giles Richards, noting it as part of a concerning trend. They expressed: “In particular, the incident involving journalist Giles Richards – who was subjected to criticism and personal attacks – highlights a worrying trend.” — UIGA urged the FIA to engage in dialogue with all parties to prevent further deterioration in media working conditions. They asserted: “Mutual respect is essential, but it cannot and must not limit the media's right to report freely and independently.” — Reports suggested Red Bull Racing had summoned Verstappen for talks, but sources clarified no such meeting occurred. The uncertainty remains about the journalist's future access to Verstappen's media sessions. — The UIGA's statement concluded with a call for a free and respected press as a fundamental pillar of transparency in sports, including Formula 1. They declared: “A free, respected and protected press is not a secondary element, but a fundamental pillar of transparency and credibility in all sports, including Formula 1.” #maxverstappen 🇳🇱 VIA: [gpblog]

Having regs where quali on most race weekends was the single most entertaining part got people too attached to it. By design Sunday is supposed to be the main spectacle, not Saturday, despite a lot of you acting like that's not the case.
