A busy remembrance weekend for me as well as all those at 1074 (Ellesmere Port) Squadron. Overall I attended 4 services, 2 parades and supported the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Overall a very successful and well spent three days.

A busy but enjoyable weekend for me has just passed at Altcar Training Camp, having attended parade and sword drill courses under instruction of our Wing Warrant Officers, hoping to be ready to hold a place on the Wing Review next year.

A cold & somewhat wet day out on M Range at Altcar Training Camp yesterday, but ultimately very successful as we ran through multiple practices using the 25 and 100 metre firing points. It’s been a while since I’ve ran one of these as the RCO & it was great to be back out there.

On a cold damp day in November, 32 Cadets & accompanying Staff from Sector 1 of Merseyside Wing, travelled to the National Memorial Arboretum in Burton-on-Trent, where they paid their respects to those who have served in all conflicts & who gave their all. We will remember them.
