Happy disability pride month! I have ADHD and Autism, and the ebb and flow it can bring can be very difficult, for example the ADHD side wants to make friends and seek out interaction, while autism would rather stay quiet and reserved, but I don't let any of these hold me down <3

I can not tell you how many times my therapist has said to me, “you are having a perfectly normal response to an extremely difficult and stressful situation”. It feels so good to hear that when the world is telling you “you need to ‘handle’ things ‘better’”
