Effective March 23, 2026 at 00:00 UTC (Homeland daily reset time), all rewards in Homeland will officially switch from AXS to bAXS. Any Ancient Coins you have already redeemed will remain as claimable AXS in the App.Axie Claim Token page. Any Ancient Coins remaining unredeemed at the time of the update and all rewards earned moving forward will be claimed as bAXS.

This is honestly a good move. I'll debate anyone on this who has been against Sky Mavis shutting off the SLP emissions from origins. It was just botted and exploited. This gives more room to try now things out, looking forward to the Axie MMO

SLP emissions in Origins will cease starting January 7. The current reward structure has created an opportunity for automated farming. Allowing this to continue negatively impacts the long-term economy. You can still deposit SLP for crafting and morphing as usual.

Axie was too conservative in '25. Aside from a successful Atia's Legacy pre-registration campaign and playtest, the year was lackluster. In '26 we'll take much larger risks. Big swings that can make history again. While a handful of Ronin games dominate web3 gaming right now, nobody is expecting Axie to strike back and start setting metas acrosss the broader Ronin and crypto gaming ecosystem. Happy New Year!
