@10knovaa @MemeDitka There’s multiple reasons for why he would do this. -To get out of his contract (now he only has one fight left) -he made 30 mil for that fight and that’s not including bonuses for ads like polymarket or his energy drink he announced during training It makes perfect sense

Whether or not Conor McGregor entered the Octagon injured, I believe he was looking for a way out. Other fighters have fought through much worse. He stormed out of the arena so that UFC doctors could not determine the injury. The final fight of his contract is already slated for April 2027. What incentive did he have to give 100% effort if his goal is to move onto boxing? I think the knee was injured just enough for him to sell it convincingly and that most fighters would’ve continued fighting. $30M, one fight closer to gimmick boxing matches, promoted his energy drink, and minimal damage? Sounds like the best outcome you could ask for in a loss. Here’s Carlos Ulberg KO’ing Jiri with a torn ACL (likely more severe than Conor’s injury).
