I get the sentiment but the problem with this is footballers aren’t meant to be our role models. People just put them there and now they’re forced to play by rules that were made for them.

@rajsinghchohan The more of a public figure you are the more you have the responsibility of being a role model as you influence more people, however, the expectation of showing no emotion is clearly wrong. Tho it’s almost certain any show of emotion will be scrutinised to some degree.
