I'm not a big poetry person, but one thing I picked up on is that the character has a severe internal conflict, maybe about a girl, or boy.

It seems as though Tao can only focus on the bad things in life because he simply doesn't know how do otherwise. He is very pessimistic.

He needs to stop being so exsistential and start enjoying life for what it is...he is pulling himself apart at the seams...

I haven't liked any of Tao Lin's writing yet, but for some reason I felt a wierd connection to him while reading this time.

Tao Lin never ceases to send my mind into a complete spin. As a person he confuses me so much.

On page 74, he comments about having no friends. I would have no friends either if I spent all day pondering the problems of the universe.
