One thing is clear.
Rob Pelinka did not have a plan for the starting forward position.
Which makes the Ayton trade even more frustrating.
The Lakers have 3 gaping holes as opposed to 2 becsuse of it.

There’s still a lot left tbd in the offseason but Pelinka finding a starting 4 is a must. It makes the Ayton trade along with signings of both Sexton/Grimes look weird. He clearly didn’t have a plan in place to get a PF. Let’s see what happens after James announcement
