He sure is full of himself. This should be what others are saying about him, not himself. Was Terry Funk going around saying he was the best he'd been and relating other legend names to his own? Or was he actually humble, and naturally trying to help others without boasting and letting it be known, and that was why so many respected him? Punk is a great talent but his ego, while being part of the reason he is popular, is also part of the reason so many dislike him. It's obvious in AEW, he leaked the jungle boy real glass story to his friends because he wanted it out that he was taking a stand and helping teach the "right" kind of wrestling. In trying to lead others and be Terry Funk un-organically, he actually turned off several of his peers. If he is as great as he says, the fans and his peers will let it be known, not him.
