Spent so many of my years working hard and helping others. Spend most of my day making others happy and providing help.Dont ask me about myself I really have no clue I stopped helping myself. Dont even remember what its like to have friends. I spend my time at work or home alone.

@greghuber Klipper was after my time. I admit I have lost interest since covid! Prusa and marlin are my nominal. I dont need perfection just reliability. I want automotive grade printing at 500mm². Multi color not important. What do you suggest?

@1246908S I only upgrade firmware when there is a new feature I need. I mostly run Klipper now days and it can be a pretty big deal to upgrade sometimes.

I must have over a hundred downloads of marlin floating around. Not to mention all the versions of different slicers and firmware. Multiple T7 ssd filled with printer stuff. How do software people keep shit organized? Do you just delete versions and download later if needed?

@gonecozycrafts Sometimes in prusa I dont know why. Supports only generate when you paint on supports. I had this issue with supports not on build plate and auto generated. When I did it manually it worked so many updates who knows what's changed.

@1246908S I’m using PLA as an interface layer and it works perfectly. But I’m sure I will find a moment in time where I need to mix having both bridges on some parts and supports on others. Its weird that I cannot seem to get that

Does anyone know how this works? The Purple layer is solid infill and the layer under it is fully empty. Shouldn't I see bridging layers?

@gonecozycrafts A blank layer on top of supports has a setting. Interface layers or z separation under supports leave a gap for easy removel

@1246908S Different layer heights doesn't change anything. I just turned off "Generate support material" and it now correctly generates bridging.. which is weird

Absolutely love that i did my headliner. Going to get black handles and overhead console. Most likely do sun visors black but im not sure. Considering lighting on doors. So many ideas so little time. Might even get a full smile when its all done. Happy Friday!🧡😈🧡
