Cubs had a good night learning how to light fires as well as fire safety and the odd s’more or two #chocolate #smores #adventure

It’s always good to hand out badges but it’s even better to be handing out the first off many Bronze awards. #adventure #scouts #welldone #congratulations

Beavers had a good night of fire lightning, toasting marshmallow and making s’mores.

After a few attempts the scouts managed to get the tents up. #camping #camplife #adventure

So tonight the Scouts continued with the theme of war time recipes. Tonight’s dishes included cheese scones, war time bread ( made with porridge oats) and egg less ginger cake. #wartimerecipes #wartimecooking #wartimefood

As the St.Georges Day parade was cancelled this year due to the pandemic we decided we would hold our own virtually one for those that wanted to attend. As well as the renewing of our promise we all shared a traditional cream tea, which we all made ourselves.
