As I get ready to step onto the field for my last high school football game, I want to give a special thanks to my mom who made sure I kept playing after my step dad passed away, to my dad who has had to miss a lot to serve our country, and most importantly to my step dad, Eric, who instilled the importance of always doing my best and being a good teammate. Every game I have played for him, and today I am going to step onto that field knowing he is watching from above and smiling bigger than ever. Win or lose, I have a lot to be grateful for. Thanks Mom, Dad, and Eric for believing in me.
