Of course it’s Dublin ‘Treat everyone with the same respect and dignity that we wish for’. -is an important history lesson. Imperialism fails to learn this basic lesson even today, creating division and conflicts, to feed greedy elite at the expense of humanity.

@12crc This look so real, I saw this image before is this place is Dublin?

Agree...Prompt starts, improving efficiency&efficacy is important. Despite this w/ls are longer.. One way to tackle this is to utilise the redundant elective #NHS weekend theatre capacity, with teams willing to take on additional work. 20th century 9-5 Mon-Fri model is a relic
Deborah Eastwood@deboraheastwood

@12crc I can support weekend lists in theory but I would much rather we started with bringing efficiency and efficacy back to our weekday lists. Getting going promptly and ‘cracking on’ during the morning … would help morale …

Continuity of care is cornerstone in medicine learning and treating every individual as a unique person prioritising their needs&help them if possible or guide them for appropriate care is indeed the key to General Practice-no AI or other substitutes can replace a professional GP
Neena Jha@DrNeenaJha

I have obtained the patient’s permission to share his story below… I’ve chosen to post it now, years later, as I feel it highlights the danger of taskification of medicine & how detrimental it can be for patients Some details changed for further anonymity 🧵 1/n

Simple measures like wearing seatbelts can save many lives.. Improved road network has increased high speed crashes.. Best cars&experienced drivers can’t protect someone without a seatbelt in a high speed crash.. Remember&insist on seat belt for all passengers

Misinformation masquerading as science is sadly the state of DIY ‘research’ With early correct diagnosis through a small sample/biopsy of the tumour, diagnosed by expert Pathologists, paves way for correct sequence of treatment (surgery/chemo/RT etc)&has saved millions of lives
Valerie Anne Smith@ValerieAnne1970

A Biopsy Is Almost A Guarantee Of Cancer Metastasis & Acceleration. Dr Thomas Lodi, MD The Needle Biopsy Breaks The Tumor's Seal & Unleashes Cancer Everywhere. The Problem With The Biopsy Is This. When A Cancer Tumor Is Growing, The Body Contains it Within A Fibrin Sheath. The Minute That Sheath Is Broken, By The Puncture Needle Of A Biopsy, The Cancer Metastasizes & Spreads. You Break That Seal That Kept It Contained & Now Cancer Is Unleashed. The Body Does Everything It Can Do To Isolate The Cancerous Tumor, often a Parasitic Egg Sac, From Harming The Rest Of The Body. Disturbing The Fully Intact Tumor Has Deadly Consequences. Forcing A Histo-Pathological Diagnosis instead of non invasive alternative cancer diagnostic testing is criminal & harmful. It's part of the sales technique set up by Big Pharma. That diagnosis procedure justifies those particular FDA approved cancer drugs, paid for & contracted by health insurance conglomerates & Doctors claim it's the right thing & the only thing to do. What Doctors aren't telling you: *⃣ 80% of 'cancerous tumors' are misdiagnosed parasitic egg sacs. *⃣ Research shows these conventional cancer drugs almost guarantee metastasis. *⃣ If you did a biopsy &/or surgery you're going to get metastasis. *⃣ If you do high dose chemotherapy you'll get metastasis. *⃣ If you do radiation you'll get metastasis. They're Giving You A Short Term Reduction Of The Primary, Achieving Clinical False Remission & In 9 Months The Cancer Returns. A holistic Oncologist will utilize non invasive diagnostic testing using CT Scans, MRI, Bloodwork Cancer Biomarkers & Thermography. A holistic Oncologist will recognize & acknowledge the prevalence of cancer misdiagnosis & order tests to prove it is actually parasites. The tumor can be surgically removed 1st, then biopsied after removal from the body to eliminate unleashing the cancer cells within the body to metastasize. Or choose to not disturb the tumor at all & instead implement a protocol to shrink & enable the body to eradicate the tumor (parasitic egg sac) all together. This groundbreaking protocol uses Ivermectin, Fenbendazole, Methylene Blue, Fasting, Ketogenic Diet & other proven cancer remission strategies. This protocol by Dr William Makis is the 1st link below in my cited research. There are many ways to diagnose cancer without the risk of spread & acceleration. There are ways to prevent & treat cancer without the risk & harm of Chemotherapy & Radiation. 👇Metabolic Cancer Treatment Protocol👇 isom.ca/article/target… 👇Needle Biopsy Accelerates Cancer👇 sciencedirect.com/science/articl… 👇Seeding Tumor Cells Into Metastasis👇 pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC34… 👇Needle Biopsy Promotes Metastasis👇 spandidos-publications.com/10.3892/mco.20… Speaker: Dr Thomas Lodi, MD Video: @incomeparent

No consolation for those who used airy lead aprons in the past, not weighed down, drenched after prolonged surgeries… It’s high time, risks of prolonged low dose radiation as an occupational hazard is taken seriously by the NHS, retiring old style lead aprons sooner

@DrLKVaughan Continuity of care was the cornerstone of firm based care. This was dismantled to facilitate shift patterns, where it’s more time based&not learning from continuity of care.. Tick box competency without continuity of care is not ideal learning especially in surgical specialties

Consultants SHOULD see pts on their own! Using resident doctors just to drive computers is awful! Work fit for only someone else! The hoo-ha over derogations has prompted me think a bit more about what ACTUALLY happens on a WR. Thread about cognition + safety 🧵 1/

Lumps and bumps are not uncommon. Many benign lumps can become large and can be a source of discomfort as well as causing loss of self confidence Early diagnosis and surgery can be helpful to establish diagnosis and restore self confidence

Day 8 - Wars & Children: Day spent exploring the ways of helping children from the war zones. We operated on 6 refugee children (please read the 2 consented stories shared). We mainly see the destroyed buildings of the war zones in the media but there is enormous human suffering, especially children with long term health conditions and those injured in the war. A struggling baby from interior Sudan could not get any help as all medical facilities are used for war injured. Mother takes the baby to near by city where a doctor picks up that the baby has a heart condition and Down’s syndrome needing immediate operation before it is too late. She travels hundreds of miles to reach Cairo and luckily gets her baby operated during our mission. A boy from Syria underwent heart surgery as a little one but the problem persisted and grown with him leading to heart failure and severe symptoms. There was no scope of getting it fixed in Syria, the family travels hundreds of miles to Cairo and successfully underwent a repeat heart surgery with full repair. These are only a few of several hundreds of children needing heart surgery from the war zones of Africa and the Middle East. How could they be helped? Wars are devastating. If only! the greed, hatred, intolerance and insecurity is replaced by kindness, tolerance and love for fellow human beings, the world will be a better place for everyone.

@rbarbosa91 Monocryl, though similar has a shorter half life and the risk of wound dehiscence is higher with tumour surgery, where seromas are common- hence the preference of 3 0 clear PDS.. Of course there are different ways of achieving the same end point - primary wound healing

@12crc We often use Monocryl for that as it doesn’t last quite as long and it’s softer, so a little easier to work with in the skin.

Redo🧵 regarding PDS (polydioxanone) surgical sutures. For reasons that will become evident later, it is useful for me to revisit an old 🧵I posted about PDS 3 years ago. We will again go over the properties of PDS, its history, and what each of the sizes are used for. (1/ )
