I’m a part of the layoffs today at Epic, closing out four years working on Fortnite. It’s been the privilege of my early career being a part of this team. I’m proud of what we built, and grateful for every person I got to build it with. Fortnite will always be special to me.

Tournaments might be cooked, this is the only guy in epic that cared for what pros had to say multiples calls with him trying to get down to every problem and hes getting laid off gonna be a rough year for competitive 🫤

The downturn in Fortnite engagement that started in 2025 means we're spending significantly more than we're making, and we have to make major cuts to keep the company funded.
