On this day in 2002, Primeval Whirl at Disney's Animal Kingdom opened. Part of Chester and Hester's Dino-Rama, which is itself part of DinoLand U.S.A., the ride features 13 cars, each seating up to 4 riders. I was never a big fan of this attraction, and it closed forever in March of 2020.

@jake_coasters @CoasterConquest I agree…not everything has to have the feel of a carnival ride…I don’t mind spinning either but I’d rather not have the next generation of extreme rides all be spinning

@jake_coasters It’s the latter…I used to live up north where the parks would be closed for 5 months out of the year..up there..you can do maintenance on attractions then..here..parks are open 365..I love theme parks(am at SeaWorld currently) and love to interact with everyone…

@cynical_disney Honestly I think everyone needs to understand is these parks are open 365 days a year..the parks up north are closed for 5 months so the attractions can get maintenance then..

It’s such a shame that the Orlando parks seem to suffer with basic maintenance. Both Disney and Universal are supposed to be the premium theme park destinations yet they can’t even bother to maintain said parks. This is very much poor show

I have no idea why this restaurant always has really long wait times to get a table. It’s kind of cool, but the food definitely isn’t worth the long wait when there’s so many better options at Disney Springs. 🦖🦕

@jake_coasters Pay team members that cared about being efficient Would add 2 dark rides that people can enjoy in the summer/when it rains Put the rest in the maintenance budget so rides aren’t down for so long

@NickChaps96 I hate express(line jumping is cause for removal from the park)….unless of course you pay us extra..then we’ll help you jump in front of everyone else who paid a lot of money to enter the park

Epic is a super fun park. But the waits for things are usually insane, and Express Pass is insanely expensive. But you know what they say, time is money. 💵 So is Express Pass worth it? I say yes. And this guy did a great video breaking his day down using it.

Because of this wording: “Access to 3 Haunted Houses at 2PM”… I think they mean the queue line starting at 2pm… Operationally, that would mean that those 3 houses would need to have at least 4 full casts. HHN shifts are already over 9 hours but below the 10 hour mark… (Cont.)
