Nobody is blaming the artists personally. We’re criticizing the company and the people making these decisions behind the scenes. They are adults who knows exactly what they’re doing. It’s just basic business ethics to not copy someone else’s idea 🤷‍♀️ This issue could have easily been avoided with a greater sense of originality and respect. Hanbin has been in the industry for more than 10 years, and IDs have gone through thick and thin with him. The fandom name ID (BE IDENTITY) and the song Cosmos hold huge sentimental value for us. Of course we’re going to speak up when something so meaningful to us is treated carelessly. Their artists are still very early in their careers, yet the company is placing them in a situation that is causing unnecessary criticism and embarrassment. It’s a shame…
