Work on 6.5kms long Gaimukh Payegaon Bridge Connecting Ghodbunder Road to Chinchoti Anjurfata Road has commenced. Work is being carried out by Ashoka Buiildcon at cost of ₹991.2 Cr. Piling work and casting yard can be seen in photos below. 🌱 Maternal & child health concerns are prevalent in India's tea garden communities, where essential #MNCH services are often hard to access. To improve outcomes, USAID Saksham developed self-assessment tools for tea garden hospitals. @PiramalS @Jhpiego @DeloitteIndia

Under USAID Saksham, to build capacity & enhance staff skills in private sector, Aayush Hospital, Raipur, Chhattisgarh has been identified as a Center for Skill Enhancement through our partner @Jhpiego. This CSE is a hub for improving quality care across 12 private facilities.

Nice to see examples of interventions fostering intersectoral collaboration to address maternal health challenges.

Last week, in line with @MoHFW_INDIA guidance for the #STOPDiarrhoea2024 Campaign, USAID Saksham supported district-level training in Surguja, Chhattisgarh.🚰 Over 35 ASHA & block coordinators were trained on hand hygiene, dehydration classification & the A, B, C treatment plans.
