Poland gets it—competitiveness equals survival. That is why President @NawrockiKn deserves great credit for vetoing Polands adoption of the EU’s punitive and anti-American Digital Services Act. The DSA would have weakened Poland in so many way. It would stifle innovation, punish achievement, create massive barriers for new market entrants and make it almost impossible for Polish companies to scale—it would strip capital from Polish innovation and give it Brussels bureaucrats, lawyers and audits, and replace clear rules with regulatory discretion. Poland does not win by becoming a compliance zone for technologies built elsewhere. Poland wins by building, scaling, and exporting. A system that punishes scale ensures dependence, not sovereignty.
