@ChrisBloore Drill it, frack it, burn it. Britain has some of the best oil and gas available in the North Sea and your insane mate Ed has BANNED any attempt at accessing it. Restrict access to exporting it to shelter us from international price gouging and cut government tax on fuel.

Redditch businesses work flat out just to stay afloat, yet global energy giants make eye-watering profits. I challenged offshore energy bosses in the Business & Trade Select Committee: why are their tax rates dropping while our manufacturers face crippling bills?

Drake calling out DJ Khaled on Palestine but not acknowledging other things going on seems to be what put him in this position in the first place. I reserve the right to withdraw this comment if he actually acknowledges something on the other two albums. I’ve only had a chance to listen to one. lol

So the Emira will now get a new Geely-Horse 3.0 litre turbo hybrid V6 - great news! No mention of manual gearbox though. So the one single USP the Emira had - something really important in the US at the moment - is going to be abandoned? <facepalm>

No words to even describe this, I would just qualify this as self-inflicted brand suicide > Nike wants to flood retail partners with inventory, lock in guaranteed cashflow > Scarcity model helped Jordan brand preserve prestige, no more appeal as almost all new Jordan retro sneaker releases are widely accessible > Models sit on shelves, retail partners and boutiques end up cashflow negative with Nike invoices hitting weekly > Jordan brand previously backed up releases with heavy marketing and activation events, effort bar seems so fkn low these days that most semi-interested sneaker consumers probably weren’t even aware of the “banned” lows releasing this past week What an insult to the investors and retail partners who have continuously placed their trust in Nike’s supply chain… The underlying issue is and has always been very clear: Nike has lost control of its own supply chain • cargo theft still a prevalent issue with early Jordan retros hitting the market weeks early at an effective cost basis of $0, allowing sellers who have no direct connection to the Nike supply chain to undercut direct Nike partners • international retailers in overstocked and highly corrupted regions exporting releases by the thousands of units into the U.S. market, the most prized and profitable region for Nike, jeopardizing any supply chain integrity that U.S. retailers once benefited from > U.S. Nike retailers have lost so much confidence in Nike sneaker launches that they rush to secondary market platforms to quickly take any profit they can before the market turns to absolute shit Let me put it clearly, NIKE RETAILERS are selling more on StockX and GOAT than they are on their own retail sales channels…. The alarm bells should’ve rang a while ago, but no one at Nike seems to be concerned apparently Nike supply chain management = 0/10

BREAKING: Nike has reportedly laid off an estimated 90% of teams connected to SNKRS launches, per sources familiar with the situation. The news follows LinkedIn post claiming the SNKRS team had been “obliterated,” while speculation continues around AI, Shopify, and raffle platform EQL potentially playing larger roles in Nike’s future launch ecosystem. @KariDaniels Also i think nike don’t see the value in the app anymore. All that money they spent on it has not been converted into brand loyalty with customers

So with Nike laying off a huge chunk of their tech team & backend engineers from SNKRS, it makes me wonder if 1) Nike is beginning the sunset of the SNKRS app or 2) Nike will replace those engineers with AI & keep it going….

Those who know cars jokingly call Maserati “the Kia of Supercars”. Buying my family vehicles I know they can’t afford to maintain when they break is something I couldn’t do without setting aside a fund for inevitable repairs, not to mention insurance, etc…can’t judge what others do though, so God bless.

𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: New Chiefs rookie DT Peter Woods bought multiple $100,000 Maserati SUVs for his mother and sister after he was drafted. Woods will only make $2.4 million per year after taxes. What an amazing gift to give his family 🥹❤️
