call me cynical but i dont think we should just let random men purchase baby girls
♡@__Tanya7__
Surrogacy is illegal in Spain, so this single man went to Mexico to buy a baby girl.

@_Texas_Chris_ @HlpMeRhondaYa @ThrillaRilla369 "Those people" tend to act like wonderful people until they don't. Maybe if they'd try being cooperative and not being a pissy bitch over being told they *have* to take care of the kid, they wouldn't treat them like a criminal. And no, that comparison doesn't make any sense.
English

@13silverroses @HlpMeRhondaYa @ThrillaRilla369 Don't have kids with those people.
But the rest of us shouldn't be criminally liable for the deadbeats of society.
It's like writing me a ticket because some idiot was going 100 miles an hour the other day. I wasn't. Why am I in court?
English

@_Texas_Chris_ @HlpMeRhondaYa @ThrillaRilla369 It's exactly the kind of world I want to live in when it comes to this sort of thing. Way too many people try to pretend their kids stopped existing the second their relationship with the other parent is over and the only way to get anything from them is court.
English

@_Texas_Chris_ @HlpMeRhondaYa @ThrillaRilla369 Initiating divorce and deciding you don't need to do anything for your kids for the rest of your life because you got divorced are two different things.
English

@13silverroses @HlpMeRhondaYa @ThrillaRilla369 Vast majority of noncustodial parents are not the initiators of divorce. They're not the deadbeats, but they're treated as such.
Because a slim minority are deadbeats.
English

@gotrice2024 Either they both get or neither gets one. If it's a by chance thing, leave them on the shelf until it's just you and your kid. Is there high resale value for the special toy? I don't know anything about them.
English

This woman took her daughter and their friend to a Five Below. They were trying to find a glitter dumpling squishy toy. The mom told the daughter’s friend that since the mom is paying for it that if the daughter’s friend gets the glitter dumpling that she has to hand it over to her daughter who wants it badly.
She also said that they would go back to Five Below and get her another one to see if she gets it too. The daughter’s friend ended up getting it and not the daughter so the mom took the glitter dumpling toy from the friend and gives it to the daughter.
By doing this, is she teaching her daughter to be entitled and that no matter who she hurts, she gets what she wants?
English

@_Texas_Chris_ @HlpMeRhondaYa @ThrillaRilla369 Having kids requires spending money on kids even when you decide you don't want them anymore and try to ditch them.
English

@HlpMeRhondaYa @13silverroses @ThrillaRilla369 No.
You’re treated like a criminal when the government drags you in front of a judge who levy’s a fine against you and releases you on parole pending good behavior, then garnishes your wages.
English

@_Texas_Chris_ @ThrillaRilla369 If you aren't physically taking care of your kid, you need to be financially taking care of them. Most custody arrangements are 50/50 or 60/40. If you have no custody at all, theres a reason and you still need to pay your part.
English

@13silverroses @ThrillaRilla369 As opposed to an entire industry that turns the non custodial parent into a criminal for 18 years.
English

@_Texas_Chris_ @ThrillaRilla369 Because one parent disappearing for decades and not doing anything to help raise the child is absolutely the better option.
English

@ThrillaRilla369 No.
Child support is wrong. It’s criminalizing parenthood upon divorce. Not to mention that it undermines the institution of marriage.
English

@solarbrad63 @Madame_Ennui Actually bad donuts, yes. Donuts made that same day, no.
English

I’ve always believed the US’s bizarre restrictions on food donations and the subsequent mass-scale food waste are bc Americans don’t have a deep-rooted internalized anguish at the thought of food waste, bc the US has never collectively gone through a devastating famine
MatrixMysteries@MatrixMysteries
An American showed what his local Krispy Kreme does with unsold donuts at night. Straight into the trash. After private equity took over, the price of a dozen climbed to $22. And instead of selling them cheaper… They’d rather WASTE the food than lower the profit margin.
English

@porskoffploy The problem was their parents, not the magic or Lily. Magic was just the idea she could grasp onto most easily.

@ItsumoNihongo No and pretending diabetes works like that isn't nearly as funny as you think it is.
English

@jasonc_nc And I have a friend that worked at one and quit because they treated her bad and then they built one behind her house and her old manager who was in charge of the new store *demanded* she quit her new job and slashed her tires in the middle of the night when she said no.
English

@jasonc_nc Dollar general put shut down our store (locals shopped there but the campers started to go to DG) then said they'd fix it by putting up a store that sold meat and produce. Built it and then refused to put meat and produce in the store. Next grocery store is 45 miles away.
English

Dollar General discourse is funny to me because anyone who actually lives near one is like “man I’m glad I don’t have to drive 25 minutes if I forget a couple basic things” whereas the person who doesn’t even live there is like “this is a pox upon rural Americans”.
DG 🇺🇸🌲@DGvv7x
Dollar Generals are a parasite on small town America
English

@trip_kawaii_t It is the same as that. What the person's exact disability isn't important, just that they. Just like why the person at the doctor's office wouldn't be important, just that they needed a doctor that day. Asking people you don't know about medical stuff is invasive and rude.
English

@13silverroses no not rlly ur genuinely blowing things out of proportion LMFAO😭
English

i asked what the persons disability was under their post about their disability im dead
Dizzy@13silverroses
@trip_kawaii_t @sadiepantscat Do you ask every random stranger about their medical history or only the disabled ones?
English

@MbarkCherguia She's very obviously only wearing it to catch how people react which is immature and annoying but other than that, where whatever you want.
English

@trip_kawaii_t The topic was way more about a stranger just being an asshole than it was about the person's actual disability. This would be like if I heard a random person talking about someone else being a jerk in a waiting room so I ran up and asked why they needed medical treatment.
English

@13silverroses I didn’t stalk their page trying to find what they got I just asked cus i was curious under a post about their literal disability it was on topic not random
English

@trip_kawaii_t You asked why it's weird to ask someonewhat their disability is when they didn't share it. If you don't run around asking random people questions about their medical history, then you should be able to answer that question already.
English

@13silverroses i just asked, i didn't demand an answer if they don't wanna tell that's fine ur making a big deal out of nothing
English

@trip_kawaii_t @sadiepantscat Do you ask every random stranger about their medical history or only the disabled ones?
