I just don’t get the meltdown. Well I do but don’t understand why so many are so shocked 🤷🏻‍♂️ we’re average… we’re 2 or 3 (quite specific profile) starting players off being able to even compete against ‘the better’ teams in the division. 4 to 5 away from winning games consistently. If we weren’t average we wouldn’t make stupid mistakes or pass up the opportunities we do. Literally every game can be summarised by saying… had 3 or 4 really good opportunities, couple of mistakes cost us. Every game. Everyone fucking knows this. Everyone can see this? It’s why we’re average. Realistically we were never going to get the play offs. But this is what we’re beating them up about… I would say I think we’ve had the rough end of decisions this season at important times but even if we hadn’t it was still a huge ask. I don’t think we’re not a million miles off tho… and to note that’s coming from a place where everyone seems to have forgotten that basically the same group of players were way below average 5/6moths ago... They’ve not thrown the towel in but the season is over, this is already preseason for next year for me so let’s not keep kicking them for not being quite good enough when everything about us at the moment screams we’re not quite good enough. 👊🏼👍🏼 #sufc

Good half of football from United. Thought we were dominant without getting the goal. Want to see a little more pace and fight from the lads second half. Just a tiny bit of quality is going to net us goals.

Love our fans — genuinely, I do. But some of you have completely lost the plot. Wilder dragged us to 92 points and a play‑off final last season, and half the people who were worshipping him then are now calling for his head. Big fan of wilder and I trust him to get it right next year but the amount of points we’ve lost from winning positions is diabolical. 6 times this season we’ve been winning only to go on to lose. Fans are right to ask questions.
