@JamesMurphyTips Totally agree. I’ve always said this. How can they determine the exact moment of contact with the ball? There has to be a margin of error that’s considered. It never gets mentioned and just taken as gospel that VAR have set the freeze frame at the precise moment. Crazy!

People saying VAR Offsides are factual conveniently choose to ignore the fact there is an official deciding the 'last point of contact' for the freeze frame. This below is the perfect example of this - there is a level of guesswork involved, and the margins can be so fine. I'm praying they implement the Wenger Offside rule soon because the current version is horrendous and is seemingly punishing the attacker more and more.
