@Mike_kim714 All tour events less than the full 156 have asterisks. Nothing new for decades. It’s still an accomplishment. But it’s no secret that if all tourneys had max fields with Monday qualifying the weekly winners would look VERY VERY different.

I’m not saying the rule is wise for the Tour, but it applies to everyone and especially a non member on sponsors invite.

When grant declined the invite from barracuda then that spot was given to somebody else. they ain’t starting the tournament with 155 players, 51 three balls and a 2 ball.

Played at @TrumpTurnberry today, where there hasn’t been an @TheOpen since 2009. It is arguably the best links course in the whole of the UK and inarguably one of the best courses in the world. Why does it seem that Turnberry is not on the Open rota anymore?
